This Vintage Audax Battery Powered Self Contained Fire Alarm With Break Glass Is New Old Stock. It dates to about the 1960s/70s and even comes with its original cardboard box!

It is highly visible, being made from red metal, with ‘Fire Smash Glass’ printed in white on glass on the left hand side of the face, and a mesh screen covered siren speaker on the right hand side.  A small red warning light sits in the middle. There is a key access lock to terminate the alarm on the side panel.

In good condition with a few tiny surface blemishes from contact inside the cardboard box.

It takes a PP9 battery, which is not included due to the difficulty in shipping anything containing batteries.

I doubt whether or not it meets current Fire Safety legislation but would make a nice prop for an industrial themed office, garden shed, or home!
